From Los Angeles, California, alternative metal band, In This Moment are continuing their own headlining tour, Half God/Half Devil, from earlier this year. They released their sixth studio album Ritual on July 21, 2017. Since the album’s debut, it reached #22 on Billboard 200.

The time had finally come for the sold out show in Salt Lake City, Utah. In This Moments first stop was at The Complex. Avatar returned to the tour and Of Mice and Men were also added.

To kick off the night, the Swedish metal band Avatar shook the room with Hail the Apocalypse. Dressed in stylish circus ring leader clothing, the stage was set as a circus as well. The crowd may not have known who Avatar was before, however they had an excellent stage presence that was unexpected, and the crowd was appreciative.

The next band called Of Mice & Men lost their original lead vocalist in December, but the band continued on and have been touring. They also released two singles, Unbreakable and Back To Me. Although there was no theme for their performance, the crowd was still energized and enjoyed their set.

The crowd started to screamed as soon as the curtains dropped for In This Moment, revealing their vocalist Maria Brink in one of her more stunning outfits of the night. They started their 90 min set with Blood, River of Fire and Adrenalize.  Throughout the night, the audience could not keep their eyes away from the performance. With Brink’s costume changes and theatrical props, she talked to the audience, engaging them with love and acceptance. She also introduced everyone in the band & left the stage for each member to have their own solo. The night ended with the song Whore, and balloons from the ceiling were released to fill the room. They did a curtain call and thanked the fans. It was an epic show, powerful, exciting and captivating.

In This Moment is a must see band, hurry quick for tickets. Their tour just kicked off, but they are known to sell out fast.
