The Kingdom Tour Ft. Daddy Yankee & Don Omar
August 27, 2016
Staples Center- Los Angeles, CA

On Saturday night in Los Angeles, the Latin Kings known as Daddy Yankee and Don Omar performed to a Sold Out Staples Center crowd. For the reggaeton fans of Los Angeles, this was the line up to see, as the two have been known to have beef in the past. Clearly settled now, each artist performed a full set, with the night being kicked off by Daddy Yankee.

Coming out strong, Daddy Yankee pulled out all the hits, from Mayor Que Yo, Shaky Shaky, Limbo and of course, his most well known hit, Gasolina. The fans were up and shaking throughout as Yankee sang and rapped his way through an impressive, hour plus set. The production was definitely next level, with pyro, fire and amazing on screen visuals. For a majority of the set, Yankee had a group of back up dancers who entertained the crowd even more as they showed off their impressive dance moves, perfectly in sync with one another.

Both-12With no signs of slowing down, the crowd continued dancing along to the DJ who entertained them, as stage hands prepared for the next performer, Don Omar. Also utilizing amazing production with bursts of fire shooting in sync with songs, Omar treated the crowd to a lengthy set, serenading all the ladies in the crowd. He performed hits such as Taboo, Dile, Dale Don Dale and the song known around the world, Danza Kuduro which had literally everyone in the audience dancing and singing along to. Omar spoke to the crowd several times, eliciting screeching cheers from the crowd. Like Yankee, Omar also had a group of extremely talented back up dancers who flipped and danced through the set. Just as Omar finished introducing his entire crew and right before going into the four song encore, he brought out Daddy Yankee.

Together on stage, the two sped through Hasta Abajo, Gata Ganster, Desafio and a remix of Danza Kuduro. The crowd was on their feet the entire time, dancing along as the two past rivals came together for a flawless act.
