KASKADE SELLS OUT HOLLYWOOD
PALLADIUM IN UNDER FOUR MINUTES
LOS ANGELES, CA – APRIL 4, 2016 – Following the announcement of his largest Los Angeles headlining performance to date at the Los Angeles Convention Center on May 7, multi Grammy® nominated world-renowned singer, songwriter, and music producer Kaskade announced that the show will be preceded by an intimate concert at the Hollywood Palladium on May 6. Within 15 seconds of the start of Saturday’s on-sale, fans claimed all tickets leading to an under four minute sell-out.
In contrast to the massive visual spectacle of a typical Kaskade show, the upcoming Hollywood Palladium concert will be a stripped-down “Redux” performance. Inspired by simplicity and his roots in the House Music club scene, Kaskade developed the concept around the ten year anniversary of his album It’s You, It’s Me.
Describing his Redux performances, Kaskade offered, “Redux has graduated from being an intention to describing a revolution where our coup d’état is a reversal of time. Redux is an observance of massive sound but restrained lights, married with hedonic amounts of deep and emotive house. When you close your eyes, you’re not missing anything; you’re doing it right.”
