From Irvine, California, an American rock band named Young The Giant are continuing their own headlining tour into 2017 since the release of their third album Home of the Strange on August 12, 2016.

Upcoming duo group Lewis Del Mar was the only act added to tour. They consist of vocalist/guitarist Danny Miller and drummer/producer Max Harwood and are from Rockaway Beach, New York. Only being a group for two years, the duo has received attention since the release of their debut single Loud(y) in 2015. For their live show, they added three members for additional support. Some of the crowd may have not known who Lewis Del Mar was before they started to play, however they had lit the atmosphere that no one was expecting. Before leaving the stage, Miller gave his last speech, “We love you so much Salt Lake, we’ll be at the merch table after the show! have a wonderful weekend, enjoy yourselves.”

Everyone knew Young The Giant was up next and as they kicked off with Jungle Youth, Something To Believe In & Eros. Right before playing Firelight, the band’s vocalist Sameer Gadhia had asked their fans” May I ask you to perform with us, be part of the show. When you hear the drums come in, I want to see you light your cell phone in the air. Can you do that?”.

Young The Giant knew how to play the right amount of old and new songs. They end their set with a 3 song encore, Amerka, Silvertongue and My Body. The amount of energy the band had throughout their performance was wild!
