Dierks Bentley brought his What The Hell Tour to Merriweather Post Pavilion along with Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi, but I’m assuming people were thinking what the hell is wrong with the weather. All week has been nice but of course everyone was worried about the storms passing by; Fortunately it stayed away for fans to enjoy some good ole country music.

Opening up the night was rising star, Jon Pardi. Being an opener on such a big tour with one of the hottest country stars in the industry obviously means you’re going somewhere. Pardi only had a handful of songs on his setlist, but he played his heart out to songs of his such as Night Shift, Up All Night and Dirt on My Boots.

After a great set up rising country star, Jon Pardi, a familiar artist by the name of Cole Swindell took the stage. Walking across a risen multi level stage, Swindell opened with Hope You Get Lonely Tonight. Instantly the fans got louder and louder during Swindell’s set. Swindell played hit after hit including Kiss, Middle of a Memory and Brought to You by Beer. Not only did Swindell play his own singles, he also closed out with Let Me See Ya Girl mash up with The Chainsmokers’, Closer.

Finally after two great sets, an intermission and all a break for all the country fans to refill their beers, Dierks Bentley took the stage! After what seemed to be a storm brewing up in the distance, once Bentley took the stage all that weather talk went away. Bentley played one of his famous drinking songs, Tip It On Back and towards the end of the song, Bentley pulled a lucky fan to shot gun a beer with him on stage! It wasn’t clear who won but it was pretty close. Throughout the night Bentley and his band played hit after hit including Somewhere on a Beach, 5150 and album titled single, Black. Going back on the rain talk during the last song of the night it began to down poor as Bentley performed Drunk On A Plane. Fans in the crowd got lucky and got to enjoy the whole show without the dreary weather!
