CalJam Pop-Up

Cal Jam Pop-Up
August 26, 2018
Hollywood Palladium – Los Angeles, CA

In anticipation of the upcoming CalJam 2018, The Foo Fighters announced a special CalJam pop-up shop on August 26 at the Hollywood Palladium. The event was free for all, although CalJam ticket holders had priority access.

Fans were able to take photos with Dave Grohl’s throne and the Foo Fighters’ white limo, as well as enjoy music from Chevy Metal and The Holy Shits (Google them). Aside from a free show and photo opps, fans were able to purchase the newly announced GA Lawn Only tickets with no service fees courtesy of Harley-Davidson for just $49.00. Chevy Metal is known to bring out guests, and they included all the members of Foo Fighters, as well as Roger Taylor, drummer of Queen who helped Chevy Metal perform Under Pressure as Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters sang vocals.

The Foo’s then went on to play a short 10 song set, with many older songs for the OG fans, as well as Everlong for everyone. It was the perfect warm up for CalJam which takes place on October 6 at the Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino.
