Mac Miller

Fillmore- Silver Springs, MD
On Sunday night at the Fillmore in Silver Spring Maryland, the sold out audience was all ready for Mac Miller to promote his new album, GO:OD AM.
Mac Miller, performed most of the songs off the new album, including most popular singles such as Brand Name, 100 Grandkids and Break the Law. The crowd chanted along, not missing a word to each song played. Miller did however mix in a few older hits, such as his most popular hit Donald Trump and The Best Day Ever
With a two giant triangular banners of Mac Miller’s signature “opened mouth” face, he walked out on the stage yelling out the opening line of the opening song, “Ayeeee ohhh the flyest motherf***** in the room, yea you know that’s me.” As strobe lights were flashing and swirling lights that circled the packed crowd. The performance was much more entertaining; from the last time he performed here. The concert became the definition of a crowded sold out show, as fans swarmed to the front to see the Pittsburgh born artist. A mosh pit formed front and center during the night. But for longtime Mac Miller fans, this concert was different. Miller actually performed for the audience, not allowing the background music to over power his lyrics. It was a drastic change from his usual show because usually it’s more of the background music then the actual singing.
Overall, Mac Miller never seems to disappoint his fans. Also, Florida native, Choo Jackson Atlanta duo, Earthgang also opened up for Mac Miller as well as Michael Christmas who also riled up the crowd!
