Big Sean
April 8, 2017
Fillmore – Silver Spring, MD
It seemed like a huge amount of people decides to spend their Saturday night at a SOLD OUT Big Sean show at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. Before doors even opened, the line was practically already wrapped around the block. There were so many anxious fans waiting and waiting until 7pm when doors opened. The show started around 8pm with openers Neisha Ne’shae and Madeintyo getting the crowd warmed up for the man himself, Big Sean.
As the anticipation grew, the lights went dim and suddenly the intro went into the opening song Voices in My Head / Stick to the Plan. Instantly the crowd started jumping off the floor as the bass echoed throughout the venue.
Supporting his most recent album, IDecided, Big Sean played a good handful songs from it such as No Favors and Moves and he ended his 25 song setlist with Bigger Than Me. Not only did Big Sean perform a good handful of newer material he also treated the crowd with some older songs such as Dance (A$$), Blessings and I Know.
Big Sean threw in a handful of cover songs including Clique and Mercy by Kanye West, Don’t Like by Chief Keef and All Me by Drake. Big Sean had a lengthy setlist consisting of 25 songs, but he also played a 2 song encore with his most popular singles, IDFWY and Bounce Back. After a great set from Big Sean and his supporting acts, it’s safe to say this stop of the IDecided tour had fans leaving all hyped up and knowing their money was well spent on tickets.
