Chance The Rapper
June 6, 2017
Royal Farms Arena- Baltimore, MD
It’s pretty safe to say that even though it’s the start of a new week, Baltimore proves that no matter what day it is they’re always ready to turn up!
Currently on his summer tour, called the Be Encouraged Tour, Chance The Rapper nearly sold out Royal Farms Arena and got everyone off their feet. Despite starting a tad later than what was originally said didn’t matter to anyone; From the time Chance took the stage to the time he ended his set, everyone was high on the energy.
Chance started the night off strong with Mixtape, pyrotechnics exploding throughout the arena. Baltimore was in for a fire (literal fire) set. Throughout the night Chance performed a mixture of older songs and newer songs such as Angels, Cocoa Butter Kisses, Juke Jam and No Problem. Not only did Chance perform a great handful of songs from various mixtapes/records of his he also threw in three Kanye West songs such as Ultralight Beam, Father Stretch My Hands and Waves. Chance is known to be featured on various artists’ singles so another cover Chance performed was one of the hottest hits right now, DJ Kahlid’s I’m The One. Closer to the end of the show a huge ramp hovered over the crowd with a walkway that Chance walked over to the other side of the arena. He ended his show with Blessings (Reprise).
Chance The Rapper’s show is definitely one of the best productions I have seen this year so he set the bar pretty damn high! If he’s coming to a city near you definitely don’t pass this up! I encourage you to attend this show!
