Marilyn Manson

The Fillmore – Silver Spring, MD
Opening up was Alice Glass, a band with a unique sound took the stage first and definitely got the crowd hyped up for the man himself to take the stage. After a bit of a delay from getting the fans all packed in the sold out Fillmore, the band eventually took the stage playing for about an hour. To name a few songs that they played during their- Stillbirth, Without Love and Natural Selection. The energy from their set really got the crowd in an uproar for Manson.
After a set full of energy, the fans chanted “Manson” at the top of their lungs as they waited for his arrival. A little bit after 9:40 pm Manson screeched into the microphone just before the black curtain dropped as the venue filled with smoke. Manson opened up the night with Revelation #12 and instantly the crowd was into the music. Manson is currently supporting his latest record Heaven Upside Down which is due October 6th. Manson played a few hits off that such as Kill4Me and We Know Where You Fucking Live. Not only did Manson play newer material for his crazed fans, he also treated them to the “good stuff” meaning his older hits such as Beautiful People, Sweet Dreams and The Dope Show.
Throughout the night, Manson screeched and sang hit after hit; The crowd loved every single moment of the show. With only a sixteen song setlist, Manson still pulled out all the stops on the opening night of tour! He closed the night out with Coma.
