Hollywood Palladium- Los Angeles, CA
Fresh off the release of their sixth studio album, Rainier Fog, which came out just a day before the show- grunge giants, Alice in Chains performed to a packed house at the Hollywood Palladium.
With huge lights shining behind them, the quartet kicked off their 19 song set with Check My Brain, the perfect start to the evening.
William DuVall captivated the crowd with his magnetic stage presence which was backed by flawless execution of the songs performed. Jerry Cantrell was of course, on top of his game, performing each song so effortlessly as the fans in the crowd, air-guitared with him.
The set contained something for everyone, featuring 4 songs from the latest album, and a majority (5 songs) from Dirt, the band’s 1992 classic. From the band’s debut album, Facelift- 3 songs were performed including Man in the Box, It Ain’t Like That and We Die Young.
Being an LA show, there was of course a special guest. After the 3 encore songs- The One You Know, Got Me Wrong and Would?, the band brought out special guest Robby Krieger of The Doors to finish the incredible set with Rooster.
