As Labor Day Weekend approaches so do many end of summer music festivals. This year we are looking forward to one of our favorite music festivals, Bumbershoot. The annual Seattle Music and Arts festival has been around for the past 48 years showcasing a wide variety of music and arts for everyone!
This year the festival sparked many rumors of being canceled when they delayed their lineup announcement. But we can assure you that the festival hasn’t been cancelled and is worth checking out this year. Headliners for the three day long music festival include performers such as Tyler The Creator, The Lumineers, Taking Back Sunday, Carley Rae Jepsen We’re most excited for the festivals up & coming performers this year such as Lizzo who has become quite popular within the past year and just recently headlined Seattle’s Capital Hill Block Party earlier this month. As well as local Seattle performers Reignwolf, Manatee Commune, and Sol. Other performers you don’t want to miss out on this year are upcoming artists Coin, Half • Alive, The Aces, Nothing,Nowhere. If you’re a fan of music, comedy, or arts Bumbershoot has it all.
