The Shrine – Los Angeles, CA
Dan Griffith, better known by his stage name Gryffin, kicked off his Gravity II tour with two sold-out nights at the Shrine in Los Angeles, CA. With his trusty guitar in hand and headband around his head, the multi-instrumentalist gave LA an energy packed show.
There are often hiccups during the first night of tour, as the crew and artists adjust, but for Gryffin and his team, everything seemed exceptionally prepared and rehearsed. The musicians were clearly seasoned in their craft, but not jaded- giving fans a truly memorable experience.
From the live drums and guitar to the amazing production with LED screens, lights, pyro and smoke, it’s no wonder that Gryffin has such a dedicated fan base. They danced and sang along to every song throughout the night.
Something worth noting was the ferocious energy that Gryffin himself exerts while on stage. You can see all his emotions as he beats his drums or as he strums his guitar. It’s something not many DJ’s do, and his energy definitely captivated the audience.
LA also got a couple surprise guests, including AlunaGeorge who performed Baggage, which was released on September 19.
