Seattle Goes Wild For The Ghost Inside And Every Time I Die

The Ghost Inside and Every Time I Die
November 19, 2014
El Corazon- Seattle, WA

The Co-Headlining Every Time I Die/ The Ghost Inside Tour hit El Corazon in Seattle, WA on November 19th. The openers included bands such as Architects and Hundredth and also Backtrack.
The first band to play was Backtrack a band from Long Island, NY and although not many people knew their music, fans were sure enjoying it! Some people think hardcore music is for angry mean people but through out the set changes people were being friendly. In fact you could leave the crowd and come back and be front row which doesn’t usually happen at shows. The next band was a band from Myrtle Beach named Hundredth and they sure put on a show! They sure got the The Ghost Inside (8)crowd pumped for the next bands and everyone seemed to be having a great time throughout there set.
Following was Architects a band from Brighton, UK. During Architects set more people seemed to know their songs and the crowd got more rowdier in the pits. Next up was a band from Buffalo, NY named Every Time I Die. The band members were very excited to perform since it was the vocalist Keith Buckley’s birthday which also made for an excited crowd and the entire crowd and band sang happy birthday to him. During Every Time I Die’s set many fans were stage diving and singing along and occasionally Buckley would let them sing part of the song too! Every Time I Die played about 15 songs both old and new such as Idiot and Moor. The last band to play was a band from Los Angles, CA named The Ghost Inside who have a huge fan base and there was actually a girl named Kiera who had gone to some of the previous dates in California and Oregon. The Ghost Inside played about 13 songs, some of them being on their new album Dear Youth and also off old albums as well. There was also a lot of stage diving and moshing during there set as well. During each set, if someone crowd surfed to the stage the band would help them so they wouldn’t fall or hurt themselves which I thought was cool because it shows that they care about their fans. During the Ghost Inside’s last song the fans basically took over the stage and stole the microphone from The Ghost Inside’s vocalist and finished the song for him which I thought was hilarious. If you enjoy metal, or even if you don’t you should check out this tour if it’s coming to your city its a fun environment to be in!
