Future
August 21, 2017
Royal Farms Arena – Baltimore, MD
As the crowd began to safely pile in the venue once doors opened, the excitement on everyone’s face really set the tone for the night’s show; without a doubt with a stacked bill, it was clear it would be a good night.
To get things started in between sets, the tour had a DJ spinning, getting the crowd pumped up. The first act to go on was upcoming artist Zoey Dollaz. Unfortunately he was roughly twenty minutes late but he still managed to put on a great set. In fact he also managed to have security back off as he hopped the barricade and called all fans to surround him as he sang from the first couple rows, taking fans phones singing into them.
After Zoey Dollaz and a short intermission with the DJ, Post Malone took the stage with an even bigger crowd and louder fans. Post Malone has a unique look to him as he strutted from one side of the stage to the other, flashing a huge grin full of grillz, a permed like mullet and cowboy boots. An LED background lit up his nickname Stoney as he performed a jam packed setlist including his most popular singles like Deja Vu, Congratulations and White Iverson.
After two energetic sets from Zoey and Post Malone, the man himself, Future took the stage opening up with one of my absolute favorites, Draco. By this time the arena had a very strong aroma of kush, and it wasn’t even deep into the set yet as everyone was already jumping up and down as they danced around. Future had a jam packed thirty song setlist which included so many popular songs such as Super Trapper and Rent Money.
Future is known to be featured on many songs by different artists, which he “covered” such as Drake’s Jumpman, Ty Dolla $ign’s Blasé and Ace Hood’s Bugatti. After 20 songs in there was a quick DJ break leading into Future coming back to perform some more songs such as Incredible and Coming Out Strong and Low Life which both featured The Weeknd on it (so wish he came out to perform). By that time it was getting late and after thirty songs later Future ended his set with his most popular single Mask Off.
