Rise Against brings the Black Market to Boston

Rise Against has been traveling the country, selling out almost every venue, bringing with them Touche Amore and Radkey. The band has been extremely Rise Against _MG_0349consecutive throughout their career, putting out each album with the same sound and ideals that they have always had, but with a difference to each release.

On Monday, September 29, the tour came to the House of Blues in Boston, MA. Radkey opened the show and I don’t think that I have ever seen a crowd more excited for the opening band. Every single person was into it, despite possibly never having heard the band before they went on. Touche Amore was second, blasting through their setlist of 17 songs in the span of time that most bands would play 5 or 6. The energy was on high, with singer Jeremy Bolm thrashing about on stage, letting out all of his emotions in the words of each song, with the band following in similar fashion. Rise Against finally took to the stage with a large lit up “RISE” sign, and immediately the crowd erupted into a frenzy. Everybody went nuts, and the band played through much of their new album The Black Market, along with many older favorites.
