The Depot – Salt Lake City, UT
New York rock and roll band, The Pretty Reckless are back with a new album titled Who You Selling For, released on October 21st. The band wasted no time and the day following the album release, they headed out for touring. Since the album debuted, it reached #13 on the billboard album chart with its single, Take Me Down, hit #1 on the rock chart.
The Pretty Reckless rolled through Salt Lake City, UT headlining their tour at The Depot on November 30. The band performed after the set of supporting acts from Them Evils and Holy White Hounds. To kick things off, they began playing Follow Me Down, Since You’re Gone and Oh My God from albums of Going To Hell and Who You Selling For.
The front woman of the band, Taylor Momsen was very interactive with the crowd throughout the night. The night also included plenty of guitar solos, thanks to guitarist Ben Phillips. Momsen got out her guitar for My Medicine. They played the last two songs of the night with Going To Hell and Take Me Down. However this wasn’t enough for Salt Lake City, which had fans chanting for one more song. The band came back up playing Fucked Up World, Momsen with the tambourine. During the middle of the song, the band had left the stage entirely to drummer Jamie Perkins, which got the crowd going. Then the band came back on stage to finish and Momsen gave her last speech “Salt Lake City, we are The Pretty Reckless! We love you guys, thank you for coming out tonight. we will see you next time!”
If you want to truly experience a rock and roll concert, The Pretty Reckless is the one show you do not want to miss! Until next time, pick up their latest album Who You Selling For.
