Being Wheelchair Bound Doesn’t Stop 2 Chainz From Bringing The Party To The DMV

2 Chainz
September 9, 2017
Fillmore – Silver Spring, MD

Even being in a wheelchair due to a broken leg, 2 Chainz said the show must go on. Honestly, many artists who suffer broken bones don’t really continue touring due to wanting to heal and what not but not 2 Chainz.

A sold out show at The Fillmore Silver Spring is always a good time. Especially when it’s as lit as a hip hop show. Currently supporting his latest record, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, 2 Chainz brought the album to life. Literally. The stage was set up almost identical to the album cover including a house and lots of pink. The production of this show was up to par and definitely didn’t disappoint.

Around 10:30, 2 Chainz finally took the stage opening up with Riverdale Rd. Throughout the night 2 Chainz performed a handful of songs he’s appeared on such as Chance The Rapper’s No Problem, Nicki Minaj’s Beez in the Trap and Drake’s All Me. Not only did 2 Chainz throw in a bunch of sick cover songs, he played a good handful of songs from his latest album such as It’s A Vibe, Rolls Royce Bitch and OG Kush Diet. To be honest I think almost 80% of the crowd was on a Kush Diet as per the venue’s smell.

Putting on a fantastic set, even while being bound to a pimped out wheelchair, 2 Chainz gave his all and definitely didn’t disappoint one bit. He closed the night out with his two most popular songs off his latest record, Good Drank and 4 a.m.
